CHRIS HARTLEY - BROADCAST PRODUCER AND COMMENTATOR, CHRIS HARTLEY MEDIA LIMITED 2021
"In a hugely competitive field - full of experienced and very quick endurance racing specialists - Riley is one of the real stand-out drivers in the Fun Cup championship. His sheer speed and outstanding racecraft have helped take his team to numerous race wins and podiums, as well as the 2020 championship title. Some of the moves he pulls off are breathtaking - full commitment, but always measured. As a result, Riley has won the highly coveted award for 'Best Overtake of the Year' for the past two seasons." |
KRISTAIN ROSE - TEAM OLYMPIAN DRIVER 2021
"Racing with Riley over the past few years has been an absolute pleasure. Off the track he represents the team superbly, working with our team sponsors, as well as assisting drivers up and down the paddock with their on-track performance too. Out on the circuit, Riley is extremely fast and consistent and has proven to be one of, if not the best driver in our series at the moment. 5 fastest laps and yet more race wins this year is testament to that“ CHRIS DOVELL - TEAM OLYMPIAN DRIVER - SPELL FUND PROPERTY FINANCE CEO 2021
“I have been lucky enough to race with Riley in the Fun Cup championship for the past 2 years and have watched his raw talent mature and develop as a driver. He has become an integrated and important team member adding to every aspect of the team both on and off the track. Riley has his feet firmly on the ground and with an unflustered and level headed approach to his racing he helps keep the whole team calm and focused on the job in hand. Over the two seasons of racing there have been highs (winning the championship) and lows (twice having mechanical problems while leading a race) but he has handled these with maturity and determination using the knock backs as motivation to improve, learn and push on. I hope to be lucky enough to race with Riley for a few more years but whichever championship and whichever team he chooses to race with he will very quickly become a major asset for that team.” |

'I have found Riley hugely impressive since day one. Having watched his progress in Fun Cup since he was 16, he is polite, professional, passionate & always impressively calm; a particularly notable trait for his age. He played a key role in helping his team secure two wins this season & is an asset to The.TrackLife team. He stood out this year in our championship & this was acknowledged when he was awarded 'Best Newcomer' at our recent End of Season Awards." Roxie 2019 |

"I have had the pleasure of both watching and working with Riley on his journey through Karting to the Fun Cup championship. For a driver in Riley's position to do this successfully takes a lot of hard work and making the most of the very limited opportunities that will come your way. It is no surprise to me that Riley has achieved what was always a goal of his with his consistency on track being replicated off it. He has always been a very likeable character mostly due to his professionalism and the fact he has always been more than happy to chat to us in the media even when we are not holding a microphone towards him. Even at this level he has remained very modest in recognising the efforts of the team around him and the sponsors who have helped him get there and I would be lying if I didn't say I have always routed for him. During my time in this sport I have met many people who have the ability that Riley has, but only very few have the full package needed for success and I believe that is what will make Riley an even bigger success in the future." Chris 2019 Chris Hartley Hartley Media "Riley was outstanding in his debut season of car racing in what is widely regarded as one of the most competitive endurance racing championships in Europe. With two victories and a number of other front-running drives in front of the TV cameras, he was the hands-down choice for the 'Best Newcomer' Award. I think a very bright future awaits." "This year, not only has Riley listened to my advice, his ability to respond has been fantastic. At 16/17 years of age through the season, his maturity has been second to none, on track and off. Super positive attitude and professional even at the hardest points in the season. Riley’s communication with myself and the whole team has made him an absolute pleasure to work with. Becoming the youngest ever race winner is truly deserved. A real talent for the future." Marcus 2019 |
