![]() Great weekend at Whilton Mill Club. The minimax Vision boys took up 6th 7th and 8th on the grid in the final. Despite some very tough driving. (7 drivers excluded during the heats). The final was just as tough and unfortunately Riley was launched off the track in the final corners to cost him 7th. However he drove stunningly well all weekend. the highlight in heat 1 when he drove at least half the heat with no tyre valve in the front right after it was removed by an opponent and still finished in 20th!! The third in heat 3 was good too. Well done to Brandon who had a 2nd in the heats and converted his grid in the final to bring home 6th. Harry drove consistently quick all weekend, but was unlucky to get fired off in the final too. Thanks to Daryl Burgess for all his help and putting up with me!! Useful info: Track open Friday for practice and overnight camping. Starts Sat and Sun approx 0800. 2 Premier Inns within 15 minute drive Good food/drink and toilet facilities at track and viewing from many areas If not purchasing a pit space parking is on grass, prone to bogging! Nearest town with amenities Northants 15 minutes

Arrived at Llandow for Saturday practice expecting 3 minimax's racing Sunday, but discovered late on that we were actually the only ones. Very frustrating to have booked hotels and travelled across a hazerdous Severn Bridge...Anyway, made the most of it by joining the Juniors Grid, beating 2 juniors in Heat 1 and 1 Junior in all 3 heats and the final!
Love the track, friendly people, very nice trophy, but need more minis there to make another trip worthwhile. Useful info: Track open Friday for practice and overnight camping. Starts Sat and Sun approx 0800. Very good Premier Inn within 15 minute drive Nice looking campsite adjoining track site. Good food/drink average toilet facilities at track viewing mainly from one side All parking on hardstanding unless a large meeting where a field is used and is prone to bogging! Have been rescued by a tractor before. Nearest small town with amenities Cowbridge 15 minutes A fairly uneventful meeting, very cold, wet and windy but the rain held off for our races. A solid 3rd in the final behind Vision Teammate Harry Gooding.
