Great day at Llandow kart club, beautiful sunny weather. The girls had a lovely day out at the local Llantwit beach.
Riley won all 3 heats and set the fastest time in all 3 heats, although there was basically nothing in it between him and second place E. So, in hindsight, rather unwisely I decided to make some changes for the final and duffed it up - so had to settle for second.

The team at Whilton, with the new Vision liveried karts and Kosmic racesuits. Looking good boys!  After last months win here we were in a positive mood. But its always hard to replicate the same situations, drivers, conditions and we had some brake issues - again.
Riley managed to put in several fastest laps including in the final but unfortunately was mugged on the last lap, with a contact overtake that left his front wheel broken and the tyre flat, so he got dropped from 2nd to 5th. All in a days racing these days and keeping it on the track with 3 wheels for half lap was an achievement. |
