Thanks to the legend that is Connor Hall and Daryl Fully Litt Burgess for all their advice and help this weekend at Forest Edge near Andover, Hampshire
This was Riley's first Junior Rotax race at what turned out to be a packed FEKC (where did 30 come from?). It's also a newish track to Riley, having only ever been here twice as a cadet 4 years ago. He managed to cope well with a heat pole and put it 5th on the grid for the final. He got up to 4th, but as it had been reduced to only 6 laps it got very intense and Riley was unlucky to get dumped down to 9th on the last lap. As this is a class for upto 17 year olds it can be quite a bit more agrressive than minimax and need the driver to be fitter, so overall we were really pleased with how Riley coped (as he is only 13).
